Chainlink’s CCIP protocol and Automation now live on Gnosis
Chainlink's CCIP interoperability protocol and Automation services are now live on the Gnosis network, the two entities announced on June 12.
Gnosis users can now use Chainlink for cloud computing functions and offload heavy computing tasks to the Chainlink network while reducing gas fees by up to 90%. More importantly, Chainlink’s CCIP protocol will allow Gnosis users to send messages, interact, and swap value across blockchains.
Philippe Schommers, head of infrastructure at Gnosis, expressed enthusiasm about deploying Chainlink’s CCIP protocol and Automation services on Gnosis:
“Empowering Gnosis devs with cross-chain connectivity and verifiable compute enables them to develop powerful applications that solve real-world use cases. Ultimately, by providing mission-critical infrastructure, Gnosis and Chainlink are set to scale the Web3 ecosystem to mass adoption.”
Chainlink's CCIP protocol is rapidly emerging as the industry choice for cross-chain communication and interoperability. Blockchain companies, institutions such as the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, and even the SWIFT messaging system recognize Chainlink’s power to transform the current financial system.

In May, Chainlink announced a partnership with Rapid Addition to develop a blockchain adaptor for institutions interested in interacting with tokenized assets, the renewable energy sector, and carbon markets.
Through the collaboration, the companies hope to leverage the power of Chainlink’s CCIP protocol and real-world price feeds to provide banks with a standard way of interacting with tokenized assets across blockchains.
Later that same month, Chainlink signed a deal with Arta Techfin, a Hong Kong-based asset management firm, to tokenize illiquid real estate and collectibles.
At the end of May, the Ethereum layer-2 network Celo likewise announced an integration with Chainlink to introduce cross-chain messaging and interoperability to users of its network.
Finally, Chainlink’s highly publicized pilot program with the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation and banking giants such as JP Morgan, BNY Mellon, U.S. Bank, and Edward Jones has helped to further cement its status as an industry leader when it comes to interoperability and real-world asset tokenization.
