Kraken’s Jesse Powell donates $1M in crypto to Trump campaign
Jesse Powell, the co-founder of Kraken, has announced on X that he has personally donated $1 million, mostly in Ether, to Donald Trump's 2024 Presidential campaign.
Powell emphasized his support for Trump as the only major party candidate currently advocating for pro-crypto policies.
“I am excited to join other leaders from our community to unite behind the only pro-crypto major party candidate in the 2024 Presidential election so the United States can continue to remain a leader in blockchain technology.”

Powell critiques Biden administration
Powell criticized current President Joe Biden's administration’s regulatory approach toward the crypto industry in the post.
Powell accuses officials like Elizabeth Warren and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chair Gary Gensler of diminishing United States (U.S.) competitiveness
